Whether you are visiting this page for the first time, have been following my work since my last commission opening, or applied previously but were not selected, I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you.
This will be my first commission opening in three years.
During this time, I have deepened my understanding of materials and refined the precision of my expression. I feel that I can now capture each cat’s unique presence and charm with even greater delicacy and beauty than before.
I sincerely look forward to the opportunity to bring your beloved cat to life.

01. About the Work
For me, a commissioned piece is not simply about recreating a cat’s markings. What matters most is capturing each cat’s unique presence—the light in their eyes and the quiet essence that belongs only to them.
Each piece begins with a careful study of the photographs. I observe the reference images repeatedly and refine the work until the cat’s true character begins to emerge.
Depending on the complexity of the fur patterns and the quality of the reference photos, each piece generally takes about two to three months to complete. For this reason, the number of commissions I can accept each year is limited.
Please apply with the understanding that every piece requires significant time, care, and dedication.
02. About the Commission Process
Commissions are accepted through a private bidding system.
Creating a piece requires several months of focused work. I carefully study the reference photos and build the sculpture layer by layer to capture the subtle qualities that make each cat unique.
Please consider the time, expertise, and dedication involved, and offer a price that you feel is fair.
After reviewing all submissions, a small number of applicants will be contacted with further details.
Regardless of the entry details, I may reach out directly if I feel inspired by your cat.
In such cases, I would kindly ask for your cooperation in creating a non-sale artwork.
If you wish to participate solely as a model, please leave the price field blank.

03. Selection Criteria
In reaching out to you, I will determine the production order, artwork size, and frame specifications fairly, based on a comprehensive evaluation of the following factors.
Pattern Complexity
The intricacy of your cat's markings significantly affects the time required for production. Tabby patterns and black cats in particular require additional time and care.
Photo Quality & Quantity
Clear and detailed photographs are essential to the creation process. While it is possible to proceed with fewer images, this increases the complexity of analysis and the overall difficulty of the work, which will be reflected in the final price.
Pricing
To ensure the highest quality finish, each piece requires a minimum of two to three months to complete.
I kindly ask that you take this into consideration when indicating your proposed price.

■ Faithful Color Reproduction
Drawing on ten years of commission experience and a specialist knowledge of color, I carefully analyze each cat's unique palette directly from your photographs.
■ Original Glass Eyes
My glass eyes are crafted using a proprietary technique developed over several years, producing a gaze of remarkable depth. No printed inserts, unstable pigments, or materials prone to deterioration are ever used.
■ Expression
Rather than reproducing a single photograph, I study multiple images side by side to capture the expression that best conveys your cat's true character.
■ Beauty & Longevity
Wool felt can lose its shape over time if the internal structure is insufficiently supported. Every piece is built with long-term beauty in mind, carefully constructed from the inside out. For long-haired cats, a proprietary technique is applied to maintain delicate, naturally flowing fur that holds its shape for years to come.
■ Packaging
Each piece is delivered in an original box, packed with the utmost care so that not a single strand of fur is disturbed.
Frame & Specifications
The standard frame measures approximately 4.7 inches square (12 cm) and includes a 9.4-inch (24 cm) wooden easel.
Other size options are also available and will be determined through consultation, based on the bid amount and the complexity of the piece.

I invest a great deal of time carefully analyzing your photographs before production begins. In my experience, significant discrepancies have not occurred upon completion. That said, minor adjustments to color or detail are always welcome — please feel free to ask.
